Our participants


  • Are adults living in the community
  • Have mild cognitive or physical impairments
  • Have medical diagnoses and are medically stable
  • Are able to look after their own personal care, or need minimum assistance, (eg. with toileting, eating, taking medication)
  • Are in need of a structured recreation program and are unable to access regular social opportunities in the community
  • Are able to function as part of a group
  • Do not demonstrate behavior which may be harmful to themselves or to others
  • Are manageable with the staff available

Our days begin at 9:30am and run until 3:30pm.  In that time we offer a variety of:


  •  Social opportunities: coffee and chats, peer lead discussions, trivia games, etc. 
  • Cognitive stimulation: word mining, reminiscing, hangman, etc. 
  • Physical exercise: wake and shake, yoga, stretching, seated exercises, outdoor walks, etc.  
  • Nutritious meal: cook available at each site providing freshly made meals each day.  


All of our programming is overseen by a Recreation Therapist with the purpose of providing you with activity based interventions that address your assessed needs.
